Low Skin Fade
A fade that starts just above the ear and keeps most of your length.
- Cut again
- 2 to 3 weeks
- Upkeep
- Medium upkeep
- Length
- Short
The shortest point sits low on the head, just above the ear and around the neckline, then blends up quickly into the length you already wear. It is the most conservative of the skin fades because the change happens near the bottom of the head, where it is least visible from the front.
Who it suits
- Anyone who wants a clean edge without an obvious change in shape
- Offices and settings where a high fade would read as too sharp
- Most hair types, straight through to coarse
Styling it
- Very little product is needed on the sides. The work is in the blend.
- Ask for the fade to sit lower if you want it to disappear faster between cuts.
As it grows out
Grows out softly. Because the shortest section is low and small, the skin fills in within about a week and reads as a taper rather than a fade.
